William F. Buckley Jr. is dead. He will forever be remembered as a gentleman and a scholar. Take for example this exchange with Gore Vidal where WFB states “Now listen, you queer, stop calling me a crypto-Nazi or I’ll sock you in your goddamn face and you’ll stay plastered.”
